Meet ASWC's Founder
Daniel Lechleiter, MA, LPC, ACS (He/Him)
Owner/Founder
Daniel Lechleiter was raised in the Rocky Mountains in a small town on the Western Slope. He attended Western Colorado University (WCU) and graduated with his Bachelor's degree in English in 2008. However, he found his degree was not fulfilling his need to help people. With a lot of eggs in one basket, Daniel dove headfirst into his Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling, from the University of Northern Colorado, and graduated in 2014. He was licensed in 2016, and started Aspen Summit Wellness & Counseling Services the same year.
Daniel has written a standardized manual which he uses in his practice, supervises interns from the UNCO internship program, and actively engages in resourcing with other community professionals. He is passionate about mental health and wellness.
Daniel practices from a narrative theoretical lens, which allows for many different therapeutic techniques.
